Remember the 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra heavy-duty pickups we showed you in spy photos a few weeks back? It was clear the Chevy’s nose was temporary, cribbed from a current light-duty Silverado 1500, but the GMC’s front clip looked like it was production-intent. That’s not the case. The Sierra’s schnoz is expected to receive aggressive rhinoplasty.

New photos show a camouflaged 2010 Sierra HD (it has 8-lug wheels) that’s replaced the current model’s flush headlights and grille setup with offset chrome-bordered lamps and a deep inset grille. The hoodline also appears to have grown a bit taller than the current truck.

The straight pipe out the back indicates the truck has a gas engine intstead of a diesel.
